The objectives of the RD&E Management Innovation Center are to implement research and studies regarding theories relating to management innovation in the field of RD&E and its application. These activities are conducted through the full-scale efforts of the Japan Management Association (JMA) Group to contribute to the development of engineers and the development of the corporate and industrial sectors through the exchange of practical technologies and their results.

At the same time, the Center conducts a range of activities in response to its social role through its research and development and technical development activities, and in response to the social expectations surrounding these activities.
