Yuji So, P.E.

C.E.O.

Mr So graduated from Chuou University in Japan with a BSc in Science and Engineering.  After graduating he took up a post at the University lecturing undergraduate students in plant design and plant management.  His specialty is quality control and quality assurance At the same time he has consulted several companies so that they obtained 'Deming’ award.

His next post was as a consultant in the field of productivity improvement, Kaizen and quality improvement with one of the oldest and most prestigious consulting firms in Japan – Japan Management Consulting Inc.  While with JMAC Japan he wrote many articles on improvement and inspection processes and his work in this area resulted in him being awarded recognition from the Japanese Ministry of Economy and Trade and Industry in Japan.  During his time with JMAC Japan he has been awarded JMAC President Excellence award four times.  Due to his enormous contribution to consultancy in the field of quality he established the quality management department for JMAC Japan managing 30 consultants and working with many industries delivering improvements to their businesses.  He worked in many industrial fields including, auto, food, cosmetic, construction, media and insurance.  His quality control training courses using tools to make difficult quality concepts easy to understand are very popular in Japan.

 Before arriving in the USA to take up the position of president with JMAC America he was General Manager JMAC Japan with a team of 100 consultants working on an average of 300 projects per year.

Mr So has published many books on his area of expertise in Japan.
