Approach to Lean Manufacturing

 Detroit, MI            October 24, 2007         1:00PM to 5:00PM

Seminar Description:

“Lean”  It’s today’s manufacturing buzzword — one that is being rapidly adopted by many other industries.  But do you really understand what it is or what it means?  We do!  We are JMAC America, and we created many of the tools that comprise lean, such as Kaizen, TPM, JIT, SMED, and 5S.  Most importantly, though, we know that the lean philosophy must be properly applied and work with the existing corporate culture at the same time it is changing that culture.  The results when properly implemented?  Phenomenal improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and customer service.  But to achieve those results, top management must be the first to adopt lean tenets and be untiring in pushing toward a vision which they not only create but continuously champion.  If you’re interested, this seminar will help you get there!
