Lean Manufacturing Learning Tour

MAXIMIZE YOUR LEAN MANUFACTURING SUCCESS!

JMAC’s consulting work was an ingredient for today's Toyota Production System (TPS) as it was JMAC who assisted Toyota in developing their world famous production methods.  JMAC’s Japan Lean Learning Tour 2008 visits actual Toyota plants in Japan and offers TPS training at one of the Toyota Group’s plants in Kakamigahara City.

The Japan Lean Learning Tour offers participants the unique opportunity to learn and experience firsthand how the Toyota Production System works.

Objectives of the Tour

1. To learn about and observe firsthand Toyota’s Production System (TPS).

2. To find LEAN solutions for improving your own company's operations during the workshop sessions.

3. To exchange your own lean experiences among the tour members from different industries.

Highlights of the Tour

• TPS Training at one of Toyota’s group companies followed by a tour of two Toyota plants and the Toyota Museum.

• TPS training in both lecture and workshops.

• Visit to JMAC headquarters to learn the latest Lean trends in Japan

Tour Schedule

2/23 (Sat) or 2/24 (Sun): Arrive in Japan (Tokyo).

2/25 (Mon): Visit JMAC for the Tour kick-off and “Latest Lean trends in Japan” seminar (Tokyo).

2/26-8 (Tue-Thu): TPS Training at “Gifu Auto Body Industry Co., Ltd.” affiliate of the Toyota Group. (Kakamigahara City).

2/29 (Fri): Tour of Toyota plant(s) and Toyota Museum (Nagoya).

3/1 (Sat): Depart Japan for home.

Who should attend?

Top and senior management, division managers, plant managers and engineers of any type of industry, interested in learning the latest Lean practices and in observing firsthand how the Toyota Production System works.

Registration & Cost

• Registration is due on 01/31/08.  There is limited space for only 15 people on a first-come, first serve basis.

• $5,420 USD/person (Includes lodging, transportation, and meals in Japan, but excluding air fare to/from Japan)

• Payment is due on February 8 (Payment by credit card or check only)

Cancellation Policy

• 2 weeks prior to the departure date: 60% refund

• 1 week prior to the departure date : 20% refund
